I am looking for a Senior Surveyor to join a housing association in the North Somerset area. The Senior Surveyor will be responsible for complex Damp and Mould cases whilst also leading and supervising a technical team of surveyors. The right candidate will have a formal building qualification to be considered for the position.
Duties
* Undertaking surveys for complex damp and mould cases where required.
* Applying robust building pathology and diagnostic techniques.
* Supporting surveyors with technical advice and decision-making.
* Working closely with the managers to deliver service objectives.
* Supporting complaint resolution and responses related to damp and mould cases.
* Deputising for the manager and acting as a point of escalation for damp and mould queries.
* Managing the complaints and helping ensure that the team keep within the regulatory and legal timescales, as well as identifying ways to improve customer service.
Requirements
* HNC / HND or Equivalent.
* Detailed understanding of HHSRS.
* Strong technical surveying background.
* Understanding of legislation surrounding DMC.
