We are looking for a person with good computer, coordination, and communication skills to join our reception team.
Specific training will be provided, although an interest in IT is preferable.
The role involves 18 contracted hours with the opportunity for overtime. The hours are:
* Tuesday 8:00am - 12:30pm
* Wednesday 8:00am - 12:30pm (training time: 8:30am - 1:00pm)
* Thursday 8:00am - 12:30pm (training time: 8:30am - 1:00pm)
* Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, with one hour unpaid lunch
Overtime assistance of a minimum of 4 hours per month is requested.
Main Duties of the Job
As part of a team, to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the surgery for both GPs and patients, providing all necessary administrative support required by the practice.
To provide an efficient and professional reception service during surgeries and clinics.
To ensure all record keeping, both manual and computerized, is accurate and up to date.
To respect patient confidentiality at all times.
Additional Responsibilities
* Running appointment and associated IT systems accurately, maximizing available time
* Repeat prescribing as directed by doctors
* Handling queries referencing both computerized and manual records
* Clerical work related to reception duties
* Opening and closing premises, ensuring readiness and security out of hours
* Other duties necessary for the smooth running of the practice
About Us
The House Partnership is a modern, friendly practice in Redhill, comprising three sites: Greystone House Surgery, Caterham Valley Medical Practice, and The Moat House Surgery.
Training for this role will take place at Greystone House Surgery, 99 Station Road, Redhill, RH1 1EB. Cross-site working between Merstham and Redhill sites may be required, but the role is primarily based at Greystone House.

We have fourteen partners across three sites (five in Redhill), a purpose-built practice, serving 16,000 patients (39,000 across all sites), with Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Pharmacists. We are a training practice for registrars, Foundation Year 2 GPs, Physician Associates, medical students, and nurses. We use EMIS Web and have high QOF achievement, involved with the East Surrey Federation.
