Nursery Nurse
Monarch Education is working with an Outstanding Nursery in Corby. They are recruiting for two Nursery Nurse positions to join their dynamic and high-achieving team.
Requirements of the Applicant
* Level 3 qualification is preferred, but Level 2 will be considered.
* Experience working with children of nursery age in a previous role or work experience.
* Enthusiastic, flexible, and eager to learn.
Working Hours and Salary
* Temporary, long-term position with the possibility of becoming permanent.
* £105-£115 per day, depending on experience.
* Monday to Friday full-time hours; part-time contracts are available—please inquire for more details.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Work as part of a team to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children, in line with The Early Years Foundation Stage.
* This role is physically demanding and requires adequate mobility. Outdoor work in all weather conditions may be necessary.
* Accompany small groups of children on day trips, ensuring safety as the highest priority.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the nursery to ensure a safe and stimulating space for children.
* Build positive relationships with parents to bridge home and educational environments.
* Assist with serving children's lunches and afternoon snacks.
* Complete learning journals and progress plans to inform parents of their child's daily activities and educational development.
