As a Security Officer with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe environment, protecting your colleagues and our customer's property, people, and assets by providing exemplary security operations.
The Role
Access and Egress Control
1. Authenticate right of access for all personnel and visitors
2. Prevent unauthorised entry to restricted areas
Patrolling
3. Conduct regular internal and external patrols
4. Undertake inspections in line with Assignment Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Premises Security Manual
Emergency Response
5. Assist in all emergency incidents as required
6. Administer first aid when necessary
Surveillance and Monitoring
7. Support operations in the Security Control Room
8. Monitor CCTV systems and coordinate responses to incidents or breaches
Customer Service and Support
9. Greet and assist visitors and staff professionally
10. Provide guidance and ensure all relevant security procedures are followed
Health & Safety Compliance
11. Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety policies and procedures
Incident Management and Reporting
12. Maintain accurate records of incidents and security breaches
13. Report and document all unusual or suspicious activity
Administrative Duties
14. Manage on-site security-related administration effectively
About You
15. Previous security experience
16. A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license
17. Ability to gain BPSS and SC clearance
18. Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history
19. Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
20. Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
21. A team player with good customer service skills
22. New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
