We are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner for a permanent position based in Ipswich, Suffolk.
MUST HAVE experience working on bespoke / one off joinery.
Negotiable salary on offer subject to experience. Overtime available @ increased rates of pay!
To keep up with the current order book, we can only consider experienced bench joiner / carpenter to be considered for the role.
Bench Joiner requirements: -
1. Completed an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry / Joinery or relevant apprenticeship
2. At least 2 years joinery experience
3. Read from technical drawings & cutting lists
4. Familiar with bespoke joinery
5. Previously made furniture such as doors, windows, cabinets, staircases etc.
The individual will be a good timekeeper, be able to work well within a team, be meticulous in their quality & able to work to strict deadlines.
Due to the broad nature of the projects that come in, they are open to various industry backgrounds. Projects can vary from residential and commercial to special projects and restorations.
Hours are 07:00-16:30, Monday-Friday.
And as stated above, there is a negotiable salary on offer as well as overtime & an excellent package with various benefits available.
