Are you passionate about safety and delivering a great customer experience?
As a Security Officer with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe environment, protecting your colleagues and our customer's property, people, and assets by providing exemplary security operations.
The Role
1. Ensure the safety and security of the site and all individuals present at all times
2. Maintain constant vigilance and promptly identify and respond to any suspicious activity
3. Prevent unauthorised access by monitoring CCTV
4. Carry out regular patrols of the site and car park
5. Remain fully informed of all on-site activity, maintaining a clear understanding of daily events and schedules
6. Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers, visitors, and colleagues
7. Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and report any breaches or concerns in line with company policy
8. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, in accordance with site requirements
9. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required, which may include cleaning tasks, emptying bins, and other campus-related functions as directed by the contract management team
About You
10. Previous security experience
11. A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA license
12. Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
13. Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
14. A team player with good customer service skills
15. New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
