If you have just graduated and looking to further your career development and want to make some money while doing a job that is incredibly rewarding and worthwhile, consider becoming a teaching assistant in a school.


You need to have previous experience working with children either in a school or tutoring or coaching, all you need is a degree, an interest in working with children and a can-do attitude.


The Role



You will be presenting pre planning work to students at a range of ages in a variety of subjects. It is the best way of learning how to manage a group of children and understand the different processes in a secondary school. Even if you are not an aspiring teacher it is fantastic experience and will equip you with transferable skills that you use in any future role.

* Teach pre planned work
* Engage students and encourage them with their learning
* Managing children’s behaviour, ensuring children are on task and behaving according to the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
