Job Description
Position: Individual Needs Assistant – KS1, Part‑time, Term‑time only.
Hours of work: 29.6 per week. Working pattern: 39 weeks per year plus 6 weeks annual leave. Fixed‑term contract. Salary pro‑rata.
Closing date: Tuesday 5 May, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
Assist students with additional needs across KS1. Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff. Provide proactive, energy‑driven support to pupils and parents.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
* Experience supporting children with additional needs.
* Knowledge and experience of autism (preferred).
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* A proactive approach and initiative to contribute effectively.
* Resilience, energy, and a commitment to engaging both pupils and their parents.
