We are recruiting on behalf of our client, Cranswick Prepared Poultry - HU7 area, Hull.
Our client is a leading UK food producer that supplies premium food to high-profile UK grocer retailers, the food service sector, and other UK and global customers. They have an ambitious investment program focused on market-leading technologies and site infrastructure. This, combined with the skill of their teams, ensures they are consistently and efficiently delivering for their customers. With this in mind, our client is looking to expand their team. They are seeking reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and hardworking candidates, which could lead to a permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
1. Conducting safety and quality checks across multiple production lines.
2. Ensuring weight checks are completed and within specification tolerances.
3. Verifying labels to match specifications.
4. Completing gas checks according to standards.
5. Ensuring CCP (Critical Control Point) checks are completed and understood by the entire line.
6. Conducting regular visual inspections.
7. Completing line operation, product, and process quality checks.
8. Accurately completing paperwork during checks.
Experience and key skills:
1. Previous manufacturing experience.
2. Willingness to undertake or have completed Level 2 Food Safety and Level 2 Health and Safety Principles training.
3. Forward-thinking and planning skills.
4. Reliability.
5. Ability to work within a team.
6. Physically fit to handle heavy meat products.
7. Consistently monitor product quality on the line.
8. Follow work instructions and procedures.
9. Conscientious, enthusiastic, and deadline-oriented.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop.
12. High standards of health and safety awareness.
13. Experience in the industry is advantageous but not essential.
14. Adherence to Food Safety and Quality procedures at all times.
What we can offer:
1. Nights shift at £13.73 per hour.
2. Working hours: 7 AM - 7 PM.
3. Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off.
