Job Description

Catch22 is looking for a compassionate and motivated Victim Case Worker to join the Norfolk & Suffolk Victim Care Service (NSVCS). In this essential role, you will provide tailored, trauma‑informed support to victims and witnesses of crime, helping them to cope, recover, and regain confidence after facing a crime.

As a Victim Case Worker, you’ll build strong relationships and deliver practical and emotional support that meets individual risks and needs. You will guide victims through the criminal justice process, provide information on rights and entitlements, and ensure they feel supported every step of the way.

Working closely with police, CPS, Witness Care, and other statutory and voluntary agencies, you will coordinate referrals, maintain accurate records, and promote a joined‑up approach to service delivery. Your role will include assessing needs, developing tailored support plans, sharing timely updates on criminal proceedings, and ensuring safeguarding concerns are addressed appropriately.

* Experience of working with highly vulnerable people
* Proven ability to manage a caseload and deliver tailored interventions
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience working in partnership with agencies to deliver high‑quality services
* Ability to work effectively in a high‑volume environment while maintaining accuracy
* IT literate with experience using case management or data systems
* Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practice

Desirable

* Professional qualification relevant to working with under‑supported people
* Knowledge of restorative principles and their application
