Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Act as a key point of contact for English and Maths students, supporting communication and engagement across study programmes
* Provide administrative support to curriculum teams to enable effective delivery of English and Maths provision
* Coordinate and support educational visits and trips, including documentation and financial processes
* Monitor and track departmental finances, ensuring accurate records and compliance with College procedures
* Maintain and manage curriculum and performance data, including information required for moderation and quality assurance
* Organise and maintain departmental documentation and shared resources
* Use Microsoft Teams to communicate updates, opportunities, and key information to students
* Support and contribute to departmental planning and strategy, working collaboratively with curriculum leads and wider teams
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in an administrative or office‑based role, ideally within an education setting
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing demands
* Confidence in interpreting, managing, and tracking data, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
