Within Risk Analytics, the Insurance Catastrophe Modelling team use exposure management systems and catastrophe models, to provide analysis on catastrophe risk for direct insurance classes so that Executives and Underwriters are informed to make the best possible decision making to achieve overall profits and targets.

Key duties (including, but not limited to) :
* Work collaboratively with clients of Risk Analytics to provide clarity, transparency and understanding through subject-matter expertise
* Support Analysts’ skills development through coaching and engagement, and provide guidance where required in addressing queries relating to the pricing of accounts and portfolio roll-up from underwriters in the Property space
* Drive thought leadership and insights, acting as the SME for Property classes
* Oversee Property exposure capture and modelling to support and enhance underwriters’ decision making and effectively manage risk
* Undertake internal and external reporting activities for submissions
* Assist Lead Analysts in the design and implementation of risk management strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals
* Conduct role in accordance with the Company’s Business Ethics policy and all regulated entities as appropriate, role modelling behaviours and risk management values
* Assist with ensuring that the portfolio and the risks underwritten are compliant with all the relevant risk, regulatory and legal requirements, and are aligned to business goals
* Undergraduate degree in a related subject (Geography/ Mathematics/ STEM subjects) would be desirable
* CII Qualification would be desirable
* ICSM or vendor qualification would be beneficial
* Excellent financial and commercial acumen
* Have a robust understanding of the Lloyd’s Syndicate market and its operating principles
* Experience of RMS RiskLink/ Sequel Impact is essential; experience of AIR Touchstone is desirable
* Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills are essential
* Strong understanding of coding logic and coding experience in SQL
