We are a rapidly growing fast food Piri-Piri flame grilled chicken franchise with over 150 stores across the UK alone Our branch in Edinburgh is hiring and we are looking enthusiastic individuals to join our team in a fast paced busy/friendly work environment.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for passionate, hard-working, reliable and friendly staff who are willing to learn. Ideal candidates should have previous experience in fast food or catering environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team are required. Our staff will be expected to cope under the pressures of a fast paced environment in a busy kitchen.
Job Position Available & Responsibilities
-Grill Chef, Burger Prep, Kitchen Prep are all available.
Responsibilities for Grill Chef
* Consistently producing food to the standards of Pepe's Piri Piri
* Working under high pressure and demands of a busy fast food restaurant
* Being flexible in undertaking other roles in the kitchen when needed
* Adhering to stock control and wastage procedures throughout the kitchen
* Following Health & Safety regulations at all times
* Cleaning the grill and other kitchen equipment at closing times
* Preparing various sauces, marinade and chicken prior to opening
* Ensuring they report for duty on time and dressed appropriately
* Ensuring the highest quality of cleaning is maintained on a consistent basis
* Active individuals who are not lazy at work
Responsibilities for Food Preparation
* Preparing the food prior to each shift
* Assisting the grill chef in preparing food
* Ensuring all crockery, cutlery, etc. is cleaned according to the hygiene standards.
* Ensuring they report for duty on time and dressed appropriately
* Ensuring safe hygiene practices are maintained at all times
* Ensuring the highest quality of cleaning is maintained on a consistent basis
* Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy and are completely cleaned at the end of each shift
* Ensuring the kitchen is cleaned in preparation for the next day
* Active individuals who are not lazy at work
