Synechron is looking for a skilled Tech Business Analyst to lead a comprehensive assessment of a global banks entity’s production support landscape. The project involves mapping and analysing 200+ systems managed by 51 operational personnel to develop an optimal Target Operating Model (TOM) that enhances efficiency, visibility, and management of production environment.
Role:
* Develop a comprehensive TOM that streamlines support, monitoring, and system management
* Catalogue all existing applications supporting the banking operations
* Document each system’s purpose, usage, and interdependencies
* Identify and record the underlying tech stack of each system, including hardware, software, and infrastructure component
* Determine the programming languages employed across applications
* Assess current monitoring tools and procedures in place
* Map out interfaces between systems, third-party vendors, and external entities
* Distinguish between vendor-based and in-house developed applications
* Understand the maintenance models, vendor dependencies, and support requirements
* Analyse existing operational workflows
Experience:
* Proven experience in business analysis within banking or financial services environments
* Experience with developing Target Operating Models or similar strategic frameworks
* Deep understanding of IT systems architecture and application landscapes
* Experience of tech architecture server, DB monitoring/alerting
* Strong ability to map complex systems, interfaces, and technology stacks
* Familiarity with monitoring tools, interfaces, and integration points
* Experience with vendor management and in-house application oversight
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and business stakeholders
