Due to Hays's partnership with local authorities, we are currently recruiting customer service assistants to join the team at a local authority.
Your new role
As a customer service assistant, you will be taking inbound calls from customers regarding public transport. These calls can vary between handling queries, providing guidance or an update on applications for public transport passes. Occasionally, you may also support with initial checks applications for public transport.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you should have previous customer service experience, contact centre experience is desirable. Furthermore, you should have strongmunication skills where you are able to deliver information clearly.
What you'll get in return
This is a temporary role for a minimum of 3 months and a possible extension. The rate of pay for this role is £ per hour, including holiday pay, which is paid on a weekly basis.
