SENCO/ESOL Coordinator, with possible teaching component
Part time, Permanent, FTTE up to: 0.9
Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher.
English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts.
Permanent, 0.8-1.0 FTTE - start term 3, 2026.
We are looking for:
* A highly experienced NZ trained and registered teacher.
* Strengths in Special Education.
* Experience working with students for whom English is a second language.
* Good communication skills and ability to work with outside agencies to provide high level support.
* An inspiring leader who can motivate and support staff within their team.
* Ability to work collaboratively with team leaders and senior management.
* Experience teaching in the junior area of the school.
From 2027 this role may be reclassified as the role of learning support coordinator.
