Commercial Lines Account Manager
Hybrid – Lancaster, OH or Medina, OH
$70,000 – $95,000
About the Role: A well-established insurance agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its growing team. This hybrid position is based in either Lancaster, Ohio or Medina, Ohio and requires a dedicated professional with at least 5 years of commercial lines experience, particularly in managing contractors or towing accounts.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented service professional who thrives in a client-focused, collaborative environment and is adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with AMS360 is .
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional service to clients, carriers, and team members with timely follow-up on all inquiries.
* Process new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, certificates, binders, ID cards, and other insurance transactions.
* Maintain accurate and compliant records in AMS360; invoice policies and ensure prompt document processing.
* Conduct regular file reviews and identify cross-sell/coverage opportunities to enhance retention and reduce E&O exposure.
* Work closely with Account Executives to determine proper market placement based on underwriting guidelines.
* Prepare and submit marketing applications for new and renewal accounts.
* Ensure service deadlines are met, including submission turnaround, MVR handling, and timely delivery of certificates and ID cards.
* Stay up to date on industry trends, legislation, coverage enhancements, and company policies.
Requirements:
* Active Ohio Property & Casualty License.
* Minimum 5 years of commercial lines experience in an agency setting, preferably with contractor or towing accounts.
* Proficiency with AMS360 or similar agency management system.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills.
* Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Professional designation(s) but not required.
* Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
