What youll be doing
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, youll be providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs. Youll adapt learning activities, help manage behaviour, and provide calm, structured support during the school day.
You'll help with:
* Supporting learning objectives tailored to individual targets
* Preparing resources like visual timetables, communication tools, or sensory materials
* Spotting early signs of anxiety or dysregulation and responding calmly
* Recording progress and behaviour and feeding back to the teacher or SENDCo
* Promoting independence, confidence and participation
What were looking for
1. Experience working with children or young people, especially those with additional needs
2. Patience, empathy and a calm, confident approach
