Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled BIM Technician (MEP) to support the design and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) systems using Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to produce accurate 3D models and technical drawings. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for MEP systems. Produce coordinated drawings and construction documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design coordination. Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues. Update models based on design changes and project requirements. Ensure compliance with BIM standards, protocols, and project specifications. Assist in the preparation of schedules, reports, and quantity take-offs. Maintain organized model files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills & Qualifications Degree, HND, or relevant qualification in Building Services Engineering, BIM, or a related field. Proven experience working as a BIM Technician within MEP disciplines. Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes. Experience with clash detection and model coordination. Good communication and teamwork skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Desirable Skills Knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650). Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
