Connect Appointments is currently seeking an experienced Factory Oparative to join our client's team in West Auckland. This is a permanent opportunity to take the lead in a well-established manufacturing environment.
What's on offer:
* Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week)
* Regular hours (Monday to Friday - no weekends!)
* Starting rate of £12.21 per hour (which could increase after 3 months)
Key responsibilities as a Factory Operative:
* Operate woodworking machinery (beam saws, edge banders, etc.)
* Maintain a clean, organised, and Health & Safety-compliant workspace
* Contribute to a productive and positive working environment
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in a factory role, ideally working in kitchen, wood shop factories would be good
* Hands-on experience of beam saws, edge banders, and similar equipment
* Health & Safety conscious with a proactive approach
