We are recruiting to the post of Associate Director of Estates. As the Trust’s lead specialist for Estates, you will be responsible for developing and delivery of the Trust’s Estates Strategy. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will regularly communicate complex multi-faceted information in relation to estates, capital and maintenance with senior management across the Trust.
Band 8d £91,342 - £105,337 per annum
Full time 37.5 hours per week.
You will act as the Trust lead for the management of the PFI contract ensuring the Trust receives the outputs and outcomes as outlined in the contract. You will be a key point of contact with the PFI management to ensure the contract performance is maintained, taking a lead on benchmarking and market testing as and when required.
With significant experience of a senior management role in a complex organisation and a proven track record of delivery within a building and/or engineering environment, you will have strong relationship building and communication skills and above all else you will demonstrate mature leadership skills and have a compassionate and inclusive leadership style. Previous experience of working within a healthcare or public sector environment is desirable.
Additional responsibilities include providing direct management of a multidisciplinary maintenance department and project managing new revenue and capital developments. As budget holder for Estates, you will also produce clear reports for the Board whilst providing technical support to the Estates team.
