About the Role
We are seeking a skilled fabricator with supervisor experience to join our team as a Fabricator w/ Supervisory Responsibilities. This role combines hands-on fabrication work with leadership responsibilities. You will oversee daily shop operations, ensure production targets are met, maintain quality standards, and lead a team of fabricators and welders.
Responsibilities
* Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job travelers
* Perform high-quality fabrication and welding tasks
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the fabrication team
* Train, mentor, and support junior staff
* Ensure projects meet deadlines, quality, and safety standards
* Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and quality control teams
* Monitor inventory and ensure proper use of tools and materials
* Maintain compliance with safety protocols and company policies
Requirements
* 5+ years of fabrication experience
* 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
* Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and shop safety
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills
* Experience with shop equipment, tools, and machinery
* High school diploma or equivalent (technical training/certification)
Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM (3-day weekends!)
Pay: Depending on experience
