* Responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with government bodies, regulatory agencies, advocacy groups, and external stakeholders
* You will play a crucial role infostering positive relationships that align with the company’s mission, advancing policy goals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Acting as the primary liaison between the organization and external entities and plays a key role in shaping public policy, advocating for the company’s interests, and building the company’s reputation in the public and governmental spheres
* Responsibilities will include planning, managing, and executing the acquisition, merger, and/or divestiture processes to support the strategic growth objectives of the company
* You will require a level of expertise in financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and integration planning, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
* Additionally you will have great visibility playing a critical role in identifying potential acquisition targets,assessing risks and opportunities, negotiating deals, and facilitating smoothpost-merger integration

* You own in-depthunderstanding of legislative and regulatory processes at regional andnational levels
* Exceptionalinterpersonal, negotiation, and diplomacy skill
* Proveninfluencing skills are required
* Excellentwritten and oral communication, including presentation development andability to communicate multiple levels
* Strategicplanning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiplepriorities
* You have excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to manage complex projects
* Analyticaland critical thinking skills for interpreting policies and their impacton business operations
* Sound financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks surrounding mergers and acquisitions
* Further, you have a proventrack record of successfully leading and closing M&A transaction
* Bachelor’sdegree in Political Science, Public Administration, Business, Law,Communications, or a related field
* Amaster’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
