We are seeking to appoint an experienced Support Teaching Assistant for our EYFS and Key Stage Two who is a motivated and enthusiastic professional with experience of working in a busy primary school. The successful candidate will work closely with individual children and small groups within our EYFS and KS2 classes. They will work alongside the class teacher and teaching assistant to support behaviour and learning. Parkside Community Foundation Primary School has a friendly and supportive staff ready to welcome you to our school team.
The successful candidate will:
1. Be calm
2. Enjoy working with children
3. Have a high level of education with a minimum of GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
4. Be able to model good spoken English
5. Be flexible and able to multi-task!
A formal 30 minute interview will take place with a panel comprising of members of the Leadership Team. Candidates will also undertake a 30 minute English and Maths test
The post is for 32 hours a week (Monday-Friday) and term-time only. The pay scale is Kent Range 3 at £21,293.00 for a full-time position, which equates to approximately £15,570.68 pro rata per annum for this role.
