Why is this role important?

This Partnerships Lead is a pivotal role focused on unlocking significant revenue potential by expanding and optimising our diverse partner network. You'll be the driving force behind scaling our existing HR partner program, refining our partner lifecycle, and strategically forging new alliances within key verticals such as accounting software platforms and professional services firms (e.g., accountants, bookkeepers).

By leading and empowering our Partner Relations and Partner Success teams, you'll ensure we expertly acquire, onboard, enable, and grow partners across all segments. Your ultimate goal will be cultivating a robust pipeline of high-performing partners who consistently deliver substantial and sustainable channel revenue growth.

What You Will Be Doing️️

* Strategic Leadership & Growth:
o Acquire New High-Reach Partnerships: Providing strategic oversight and guidance for identifying, engaging, and onboarding new high-reach strategic partners within the HR ecosystem and critical new verticals (e.g., accounting software platforms, professional services firms). You'll collaborate closely with the Partner Relations team and directly contribute to key strategic partner engagements when necessary.
o Launch New Verticals: Take the lead in researching, planning, and executing the launch of our following strategic verticals, initially focusing on integrating with and partnering with leading accounting software providers and establishing a strong network of accounting and bookkeeping firms. This includes understanding market needs, defining unique partner propositions for these segments, and building the operational framework for success.
o Contribute to Business Strategy: Significantly contribute to the overall business strategy by identifying market trends, competitive landscapes, and new opportunities for partner-driven growth. Your insights will directly influence our future direction.
* Team Leadership & Operational Excellence:
o Oversee Partner Relations: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and operational guidance to the Partner Relations Manager. Your leadership will foster a high-performing environment where all partners thrive and maximise their potential with Breathe HR, consistently delivering exceptional value to their clients.
o Manage Partner Success Team: You will lead, mentor, and inspire our existing Partner Success team (comprising a Partner Onboarding Coordinator and Partner Development Specialist). You will ensure our partners thrive, maximise their potential with Breathe HR, and consistently deliver exceptional value to their clients.
o Drive Operational Excellence: Implement and optimise processes, tools, and best practices across the entire partner lifecycle, from recruitment and enablement to performance management and offboarding. Focus on efficiency, scalability, and delivering an exceptional partner experience.
o Define and Monitor Key Performance Indicators: Establish clear performance metrics for Partner Relations and Partner Success teams. You'll regularly analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and reports to the Head of Partnerships to ensure targets are met and areas for improvement are identified.
o Manage Key Strategic Projects: Oversee and drive critical projects that enhance our partner ecosystem and integrations, improve efficiency, and support our overarching growth objectives.

* Project Management Expertise: Skilled in managing complex projects from conception to completion, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on results.
* Exceptional Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Adaptability & Proactiveness: A flexible and proactive approach, comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
