To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a

Multi Skilled Engineer

to come and join our team at our Lodge Lane Factory, Cannock
The successful candidate will be responsible for plant wide proactive and reactive electrical maintenance activities, to ensure the optimum performance of the factory.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) across a wide range of plant and machinery.

Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime and support production needs.

Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.

Undertake mechanical repairs such as bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and pumps.

Undertake electrical tasks including fault finding, motors, sensors, drives, and control panels.

Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment.

Ensure all work is completed safely, in line with company health, safety, and environmental standards.

Accurately record maintenance activities, using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) or maintenance logs.

Contribute to continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.

Work collaboratively with production and other departments to prioritise and resolve engineering issues.

Participate in root cause analysis of recurring faults and implement long-term fixes.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Time Served, Advanced Apprenticeship (L3) in Engineering Maintenance (Electrical), Electrical Installation, Electrical & Electrotechnical, Mechatronics (Electrical) or equivalent
or Time Served, Advanced Apprenticeship (L3) in Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical) with relevant proven electrical skills (INTACS1/2)
Maintenance experience and fault diagnosis of Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems
Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems and fault diagnosis desirable
Computer literate in MS Word and Excel
Knowledge of basic continuous improvement tools and techniques
