With production sites across Rodley, Thornbury, and Horsforth, were expanding again and looking for Machine Operatives to join our busy Supply Chain team. About the Role Youll play a key part in keeping production flowing, by working in our busy yard, moving timber from our yard to the saw mill or to our production area. The role will also include working in the saw mill, operating machinery. It is essential that you have a Side Loader licence. Key Responsibilities Responsible for moving materials into stock storage as well as loading vehicles where needed. You will drive a side loader truck in a safe manner, adhering to the site speed limits and safety rules issued during training. You will work across several departments ensuring they have adequate materials needed to maintain production. You will show good team working skills as you will need to interact with all employees including managers throughout the day. You must showcase excellent organisational skills to optimise your working hours to complete all tasks. You will be expected to develop your knowledge on timber and the products the company produces, to understand what material is required. You will be trained on some of the saws in the saw mill and use them when needed. Whats In It for You?
