Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for a Children’s Social Worker to join the Child in Need team in Winsford.
You will have excellent supervision and manageable caseloads, working alongside stable teams of experienced social workers and permanent established Team Managers. Free parking in all localities, a bright and modern office base and a hybrid working plan.
Pay rate is £40 an hour.
Responsibilities:
Assess the needs of children and young people who require social work services including the identification of risk and the need for protection. To develop, co-ordinate and deliver multi-agency plans to meet assessed needs and to review these plans to ensure they continue to meet assessed needs
Identify unmet needs and gaps in service provision to inform resource allocation and service development
Engage other professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies in the delivery of services agreed following the assessment of need
Manage an allocated workload within a team setting
Applicant Requirements:
Experience: 3 years post qualified and have significant experience in duty/assessment, child protection and Court
Qualifications: Social Work Degree, registered with SWE
Compliance: Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK
Hours: 37 hours a week, Hybrid, Monday to Friday
Travel: Full UK driving license
