We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our 'Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology' (ADS&T) business, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from niche consultancy to large, high-profile programmes.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating optimal design solutions that meet client requirements. This will involve producing substantiation calculations, authoring technical documents, and managing project delivery against time, cost, and quality requirements.
You will also be responsible for supporting our QA process through review or checking colleagues' work and presenting your findings to clients at formal reviews.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, as well as chartership with a relevant engineering institution. You should also have a sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application to varied projects and domains.
Key skills and qualifications include creativity and experience across the design lifecycle, familiarity with working to design codes and industry standards, and experience in the production of design documentation. Additionally, you should have experience of participating and presenting material at formal design reviews and working in teams to deliver mechanical engineering design projects.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary range: £35,000 - £60,000
