As an Apprentice on their Service Management Team, you'll work closely with their seasoned professionals to support both internal and external customers, ensuring the smooth operation of their systems. CPS also have a wealth of experience working with apprentices; guiding and supporting them through their journey, there is no better place to kick-start your IT career! In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Assist in the management of user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and security. Assist in the implementation of data backup and disaster recovery procedures. Assist in the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and software. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, sharing knowledge with the team. Collaborate with Delivery Service professionals to identify and implement process improvements. Engage with resolver groups to ensure timely resolution of service requests and incidents. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT. You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to progress onto a level 4 apprenticeship or secure a full-time role.
