Must haves to be a successful Insurance Operations Consultant
Commercial experience within the Insurance Industry with a key focus on Controls and Operating Procedures
Experience with the full lifecycle of an insurance risk from underwriting and rating through to Claims Settlement, including awareness of downstream Finance and Reserving processes.
Experience of managing service standards and customer-focused KPI's
Ability to constructively challenge stakeholders whilst maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with all parties
Nice to haves to be a successful Insurance Operations Consultant
Strong Experience of information ingestion and usage.

What will you be doing
Review, monitor and support all core operational processes from participant onboarding, eligibility, and the settlement of claims to agreed service levels and operational metrics.
Operate process controls and act to address any risks or issues as they arise and support Head of Operations in assessing the effectiveness of controls
Track and report on core operational process performance, act to address any issues that arise, and lead on continuous service improvement activities
Provide management information to inform continuous process improvement and scheme changes and support change initiatives as required
Develop appropriate guidance and training materials for both scheme participants and internal resource to support the competent use of scheme processes and systems
Develop and support the creation and development of new systems
Provide expert guidance with cross function departments providing resource and support for wider projects and continuous improvement
Foster a security-aware culture through your own actions and behaviour by exercising good judgment, being aware of Information Security risks, compliant with all policies diligent in the completion of Information Security training
