Vacancy: Practice Nurse (Part-time, Flexible Hours)

Stonehaven Medical Group is a forward-thinking and friendly Practice serving South Aberdeenshire across two sites: Stonehaven and Auchenblae. We are seeking a committed, caring, and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team.

This post will be primarily based in Auchenblae with occasional hours required in Stonehaven.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients including management of patients with long-term conditions, including respiratory care (asthma/COPD) and diabetes.

Perform cervical cytology, Near Patient Testing, wound care, venepuncture, ECGs, ear syringing, immunisations, and health checks.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.

Desirable:

Diploma in diabetes, asthma or COPD (training can be supported for the right candidate).

Hours:

1620 hours per week over 23 days (negotiable). Flexibility required to cover both sites.

Dependent on experience.
