St. Cuthbert's RC High School are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Second in Mathematics. This is a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen the Maths department, contribute to curriculum design, model high-quality teaching, and support colleagues to develop their practice. Purpose of the role
As Second in Mathematics, you will bring energy, subject passion, and a commitment to excellence in the classroom. You will play a vital role in developing high-quality teaching and learning, contributing to curriculum design, and supporting colleagues to grow and succeed. You will also enrich the wider life of the school as part of a Catholic school community, modelling professional integrity, collaboration, and innovation.

* Support the Head of Maths in building a strong department and developing a culture of high expectations.
* Contribute to curriculum design and the development of teaching and learning strategies.
* Model high-quality teaching and support colleagues to improve practice.
* Inspire a love of mathematics across the school and help achieve consistently excellent outcomes for all students.
* Collaborate with staff to foster an inclusive and innovative learning environment.
