Overview
Part Time Ward Clerk role at NHS Ayrshire & Arran. Based at University Hospital Crosshouse. Two part-time posts available.
What You Will Do
* Provide a clerical and reception service within a designated ward area, assisting patients and visitors as they arrive at hospital.
* Maintain and file patient confidential records and record patient-related data.
* Assist with admissions and outpatient appointments using the computerised patient administration system, answer telephones and relay messages.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
* Candidates should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience.
Hours
* Post 1 - 18.5 hours per week: Monday – Thursday 8:00am–11:45am; Friday 8:00am–11:30am
* Post 2 - 19.73 hours per week: Monday – Thursday 8:00am–12:00pm; Friday 8:00am–11:44am
