Accounts Assistant | Permanent | £26,000–£30,000 DOE | Telford | Full-time
Seymour John is working with a business in Telford who are looking to hire an Accountants Assistant on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on reconciliations, cashflow support, and producing accurate financial information.
The role will include:
* Supporting cashflow reporting and day-to-day cash management
* Bank reconciliations (high volume / multi-account if required)
* Credit card statement processing and reconciliations
* Purchase ledger support: invoice processing, matching, supplier queries
* Sales ledger support: invoicing, allocations, chasing/query management
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant position
* Strong working knowledge of bank recs, ledgers, and reconciliations
* Comfortable picking up systems quickly and working with financial deadlines
* Accurate, proactive, and naturally organised with strong attention to detail
Salary & benefits:
* £26,000–£30,000 DOE
