We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and organised Social Media Marketer to join our Marketing team based at Head Office in Eastbourne. You will play a key role in growing our social media presence by creating and generating engaging and innovative content for our Company’s trade social media accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for a marketer who is highly motivated, with an aptitude for both the analytical and creative elements of social media marketing.
Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and wider Marketing team, you will support and implement the Company’s social media strategy by promoting multiple brands, products, and services across our websites. This will involve creating paid and organic campaigns, building adverts, liaising with our media agency, liaising with suppliers, analyzing trends, platforms, and industry blogs, monitoring content and reposts, and replying to direct social media communications.
Brewers Decorator Centres are the largest independent supplier of decorating materials across the UK, supplying both trade and retail customers. With over 120 years of heritage, our digital marketing activities are expanding, with exciting plans for 2025 and beyond.

Key responsibilities include:
* Researching, writing, editing, scheduling, and publishing original and engaging content
* Assisting in developing social media campaigns aligned with marketing activities
* Analyzing social media activity for commercial success
* Responding to social media communications appropriately
* Developing product and industry knowledge to confidently participate in conversations
* Staying informed of digital and social media marketing innovations
* Proposing new ideas and best practices
* Managing projects within time and budget
* Creating social media content for events as needed
Ideal candidate profile:
* Experience in using social media and digital media for marketing
* Willingness to learn scheduling and analytical software (e.g., Hubspot, K8, Phocas, Google Analytics)
* Creative and innovative thinker
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Highly organized with ability to multitask and meet deadlines
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software
* Keen to learn about our industry and develop product knowledge
* Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
* Team player with initiative and approachability
