QA Operative – Nights
£14.00 – £14.50 per hour | Ongoing Work | Immediate Start
Sutton Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-established food production facility near Driffield and are currently seeking a QA Operative to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business ahead of their busy pea season, with an immediate start available for training and long-term prospects beyond the season.
Pay Rates:
£14.00 per hour – Monday to Thursday night shift
£14.50 per hour – Weekend night shift (during pea season)
Working Hours & Shift Pattern:
Training / Pre-Season: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm – 6:00am (44 hours)
Pea Season (Approx. 12 weeks): Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6:00pm – 6:00am (33 hours)
Post-Season: Return to Monday to Thursday night shifts
The Role:
Carrying out quality assurance checks within a food production environment
Monitoring products to ensure they meet required standards
Recording and reporting quality data accurately
Working closely with production teams to maintain quality standards
Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a food production or QA environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Ability to work nights and adapt to a seasonal shift pattern
Good communication skills
Reliable and committed with a strong work ethic
