Job Title: SailPoint Automation Tester Location: London, UK Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE) Work Model: Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote Experience 10 years About the Role We are seeking an experienced SailPoint Automation Tester with strong expertise in Identity Access Management (IAM) and SailPoint application onboarding testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing automation frameworks, developing automated test scripts, and defining test strategy for SailPoint-based onboarding workflows. This role requires a proactive professional who can recommend and implement the most suitable open-source automation tools (Selenium/Java preferred, but flexible based on technical rationale). Key Responsibilities Develop and implement test strategy, test approach, and automation roadmap for SailPoint application onboarding. Design and build an automation framework from scratch (preferably using Selenium with Java or other suitable open-source tools). Create, review, and execute automated test scripts for SailPoint application onboarding processes. Validate identity lifecycle workflows including: Application onboarding Access requests Role provisioning Certification & access reviews Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing within IAM solutions. Collaborate with IAM engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality and coverage. Identify automation opportunities and continuously optimise test coverage and execution efficiency. Produce clear documentation including test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and defect reports. Provide thought leadership on tool selection and automation best practices. Required Skills & Experience Core Expertise Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or SailPoint IdentityNow Proven experience in SailPoint Application Onboarding testing Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts Experience testing provisioning workflows, RBAC, certifications, connectors, and integrations Automation Skills Strong experience with Selenium and Java Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch Ability to recommend alternative open-source tools if more suitable (e.g., REST automation, API testing frameworks) CI/CD integration knowledge is desirable Testing Expertise Experience in: Functional Testing Regression Testing Integration Testing API Testing Strong defect management and reporting skills Experience working in Agile environments Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to articulate test strategy and automation approach clearly to stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills roactive mindset with ownership of deliverables Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working model (4 days onsite in London) Nice to Have Experience with IAM integrations across enterprise systems Knowledge of banking/financial services domain Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
