Cleaners are responsible for tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, changing bins and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for students, visitors and staff. You may also be tasked with restocking supplies and cleaning products.
Additionally, cleaners play a crucial role in helping to prevent the spread of infections and illnesses by following proper cleaning processes and adhering to health and safety guidelines.This is an evening shift:04:30 pm 07:30 pmKey Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areasHoovering, dusting and mopping floors to remove dirt and debrisChanging bins and disposing of waste efficientlySanitation of surfaces to prevent the spread of infections etcRestocking of supplies like toilet paper, soap and cleaning products as requiredFollowing proper cleaning procedures to ensure effective cleaning and safetyAdhering to health and safety guidelines including utilising appropriate PPEReporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate authoritiesTo be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:Has the ability to notice and address small details to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of facilitiesReliabilityProfessionalismA good standard of Maths and EnglishProactive in identifying cleaning needs and taking appropriate actions without contact supervisionPunctual and consistentDiversity and Inclusion:Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of the College.
