We’re now looking for an Engineering Lead / Manager to guide our growing engineering team, drive technical excellence, and help shape the future of our platform as we scale.
The Role
As Engineering Lead, you’ll be both a hands-on technical leader and a strategic manager, responsible for guiding a talented cross-functional team across the full product lifecycle — from ideation to delivery. You’ll define and implement best practices in architecture, development, and scaling, while fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
You’ll work closely with the founders, product, and data teams to deliver intelligent, high-performing web applications that combine data-driven insights with exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of full-stack and AI engineers, providing technical guidance, career support, and performance feedback.
* Oversee architectural decisions and ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance of the platform.
* Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to deliver new features and improve existing systems.
* Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, including testing, CI/CD, and agile development.
* Contribute to hands-on coding, particularly in complex or critical areas.
* Manage technical roadmaps, resource allocation, and project delivery timelines.
* Stay current with emerging technologies, especially in AI, data processing, and scalable web architectures.
Tech Stack
* Frontend: JavaScript, React
* Backend: Node.js, Python
* Infrastructure: AWS / GCP (experience with modern cloud environments is a plus)
* AI / ML: Exposure to applied AI, data models, or large language models preferred
* Tooling: GitHub, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
About You
* 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
* Strong background in full-stack JavaScript development (React + Node.js).
* Experience working with or integrating AI/ML systems or APIs.
* Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
* Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
