With continued expansion, they’re now looking to appoint a Finance Assistant in their Aylesford office.
The Role
This is a varied, hands‑on finance role offering broad exposure across the department. While the position is primarily focused on accounts payable, you’ll also support areas such as credit control, reconciliations, invoicing and day‑to‑day banking.
It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy, multifaceted role within a growing and well‑structured business.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing supplier and customer invoices
* Managing subcontractor payments and reconciliations
* Supporting the Finance Manager with reconciliations and process documentation
* Assisting with bank reconciliations, daily cash reporting and intercompany movements
* Investigating and resolving customer payment queries
* Processing invoices and credit notes
* Supporting staff expenses, company credit cards and payment imports
* Assisting with ad‑hoc finance projects as required
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Confident, polite and professional telephone manner
* Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
* Calm, positive and professional approach under pressure
* Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive mindset
