The Endoscopy Unit is a very busy department and the successful candidate will work within the decontamination unit processing endoscopes and ensuring all equipment is ready for the daily lists.
To work in the decontamination area to decontaminate endoscopy equipment following Standard Operating Procedures. Take responsibility for the care, maintenance and record keeping of endoscopes and all decontamination equipment. Be responsible for reporting any breaches in the decontamination process to the Senior Nurse.
DBS Information
Trust policy requires that the cost of submitting & processing a DBS application is met by the successful applicant/s. DBS costs are recovered via salary deduction following starting in post.
