Purpose of the Role

To lead the onsite procurement and logistic/warehouse functions. This is a high impact position, working across the business as well as across the wider MPAC organisation. You will be crucial to positioning the supply chain function as a strategic partner within the wider organisation.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

* Operational Oversight
o Overall accountability for site supply chain performance across Compliance, Quality, Delivery, Cash & Cost
o Provide daily oversight of supply chain operations ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant processes
o Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective collaboration between departments and collaborate with group colleagues
o Manage resource allocation including staffing, budgets, and infrastructure to meet business goals
* Financial Management
o Develop and manage annual targets to improve supplier cash and cost performance
o Monitor financial performance, address variances and implement corrective actions
o Ensure cost-effective operations and identify cost optimisation opportunities
o Monitor and control working capital to maintain optimal liquidity and financial stability
* Team Leadership and Development
o Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
o Deliver effective, empowering operational leadership across large and diverse teams
o Develop and retain high potential talent with succession planning for critical roles
o Foster a culture of learning, development, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
o Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for staff at all levels
* Compliance and Risk Management
o Ensure supplier base adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies
o Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
o Support corporate initiatives related to business sustainability and environmental stewardship
* Stakeholder Engagement
o Act as primary business representative to external supply base
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
o Communicate supplier performance, challenges, and opportunities to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

* Achievement of annual financial targets for supplier cash and cost performance
* Compliance rates across supplier base, meeting regulatory and corporate standards
* Quality, Delivery, Cost & Cash performance improvements based on agreed targets
* Working capital optimisation and maintenance of financial stability

Knowledge & Experience

Essential
Previous Supply Chain management/senior role experience
Basic understanding of working alongside a global supply chain
Highly influential
Experience of delivering supplier cost reduction and working capital improvements
Warehouse and logistics operational experience
Personnel management

Desirable
Engineering/Manufacturing industry experience
Experience in low volume, high mix project-based businesses


Technical Skills

Essential
ERP System experience, ideally Visual

Desirable
Business, logistics degree / Supply Chain Professional Certified
