Job responsibilities Cervical cytology & teaching breast awareness Wound care and management including removal of sutures New Patient Health checks Urinalysis BP & BMI checks ECGs COPD / Asthma / Peak Flow Readings / Spirometry LES/DES/QOF related clinical and administrative work Routine immunisations including flu / Childhood immunisations Travel health advice and vaccinations Contraception including Pill checks Menopause and HRT consultations Chaperoning Assisting GPs with minor surgery and coil fittings Requesting pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs Experience in Diabetes Following agreed clinical protocols (patient group directives) with referral to GPs as appropriate Ordering of vaccinations and equipment to maintain stock levels At all times there will be a need to maintain accurate records Attend and participate in any Practice meetings when required Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post
