Overview
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery and vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety standards. The Mechanic will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring that all equipment is maintained in optimal condition.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations.
* Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Repair or replace faulty parts and components as necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times.
* Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
