* Salary: £31,650 - £43,607

* Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a conscientious, inspiring and enthusiastic KS1 teacher. This role will be based in a mixed Year 1/ Year 2 class and the ideal person will be someone who consistently delivers outstanding teaching, supporting our children to be the best they can be. The successful candidate will have successfully completed their ECT with at least two years’ experience of teaching in KS1, including the use of continuous provision and the teaching of phonics to develop early reading skills. They will demonstrate high expectations for our children’s learning and behaviour and will be committed to overcoming social disadvantage.

Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Key Stage 1.
* Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
* Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching at the primary level.
* Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
* Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
