What you’ll do on a typical day:
To assist with the day-to-day health & safety requirements; accident reporting, near-miss and accident investigations, customer reports and compliance.
* Help develop, deliver and monitor the health & safety framework.
* Assist, develop and promote a safety-first culture of health and safety awareness across site.
* Provide help and support to the management teams and key personnel to allow them to have a better understanding of their roles & responsibilities regarding health and safety management
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous Health & Safey experience, with an understanding of processes and procedures relating to Health and Safety
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, with a focus on relationship building
* Strong IT knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point
* Holder of an IOSH qualification is essential
