The role
will be sat within a team of up to 3 other Fund Accountants, reporting into a Deputy Client Accounting Manager and ultimately the Client Accounting Manager.
1. To prepare monthly Management Accounts, including the analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet, Income Statement General Ledger items and completing Net Asset Value computations for communication to investors.
2. To produce monthly Management Information, including Liquidity Forecasts.
3. Coordination and control of quarterly investor / client communication ensuring completion within specified timescales.
4. Provision of tax information to the relevant tax specialists and calculation of tax accruals.
5. To complete the computation, general ledger reconciliation and on-line submission of quarterly VAT returns and payment of sums payable to HMRC (where applicable).
6. To analyse loan covenant compliance and provide reporting to lenders (where applicable)
7. To aid in the preparation of annual statutory Financial statements, including supporting documents/workings. To liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure audits are planned and executed accordingly, and financial statements are distributed to interested parties in accordance with required timescales.
8. To aid in the review and implementation of Real Estate acquisition and disposals pipeline.
9. To ensure continuous implementation and strict application of accounting standards and operational control
10. Any other duties that are deemed necessary that may occur from time to time.
To be successful in this role you will have...
11. Part Qualified Accountant - ACCA, CIMA or ACA
12. Management Accounting experience
13. Clear and concise communicator with experience of working with colleagues at all levels
14. Solid financial accounting skills, including ability to analyse and interpret variances
15. Self-starter, deadline-driven and can work on own initiative.
16. Client Focus driven with proven experience

18. Experience in a Financial Services environment
19. Fund Accounting/Property Fund Accounting experience
