My client area a specialist company that researches, develops and produces bespoke products for the agricultural industry and they are seeking a Quality Control Biotechnologist to join their current team. As a Quality Control Biotechnologist your role will focus on conducting microbiology tests, using laboratory equipment and creating detailed reports.
Quality Control Biotechnologist Responsibilities;
1. Preparing bacteria for laboratory testing
2. Performining microbiological testing on materials and finished products
3. Perform HPLC and other tests and record results appropriately
4. Ensuring that procedures meets ISO standards
5. Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
6. Providing technical support to colleagues
Quality Control Biotechnologist Experience;
7. Degree or HNC/HND qualification in Microbiology, Applied Biology or Biochemistry
8. Must have previous experience working in a Laboratory Technician position
9. Experience of working to ISO standards would be advantageous
10. Experience using laboratory equipment is essential
11. Must be a team player
12. Excellent communication skills are a must
