We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to work within our friendly, well-established Occupational Therapy service in the Mental Health Service for Older People (MHSOP) based in University Hospital Llandough. The successful applicant will work on the in-patient wards and in the community.

* Enable patient‑centred engagement in occupations.
* Carry out interventions both on an individual and group basis.
* Collect patient data and perform other administrative and organisational tasks, including stock keeping and electronic record keeping.

Person Specification
* Ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
* Shares values of the UHB.
* Ability to speak Welsh (desirable).
* Knowledge of NHS.
* Evidence of facilitating peer learning (e.g., journal clubs).
* Evidence of working as an autonomous practitioner with self‑management skills and team working.
* Basic IT skills.
* Evidence of involvement in audit and research.
* Experience of working in health and social care environments.
* Experience of organising a caseload.
* Experience of inter‑professional team working.
* Experience of involvement with carers and families.
* Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
* Professional registration with HCPC.
* Evidence of recent study.
